There was a slight thundershower in LA tonight, caused a rainbow on the commute home, unfortunately I was without my camera, only my phone...

Today we received the first email marking the final delivery from one of our studios, marking the end of a 4 year long relationship which gave me the opportunity to travel to India multiple times. This caused me to revisit some of my old photos from some of my earlier trips. The Photos below were from a trip to the Hyderabad zoo, while we were there a monsoon hit. We ended up trapped inside the reptile house for about an hour and a half until it let up enough that we could "swim" to the car and actually get out of the parking lot.

I took this picture in my front lawn, my wife saw him while watering the flowers. He stopped by for a quick drink. The iridescence on his wings made him very interesting, these images are straight from the camera, no corrections.

I was surprised to see more cattle than sheep on my 1100 mile tour of the North Island in New Zealand. We didn't get too close to much until we stopped at little Bed & Breakfast/Campsite at the head of a Thermal Hike just north of Taupo... It was a little odd, but the owner offered to sell us the whole shebang for only $400K NZD...
Anyway, they had a sheep, which wouldn't let us get too close, a few Llamas, Peacocks and Chickens. This little chicken looks like he was trapped in the 80s and acted very confused...
Keith was able to get one of the Llamas to get close, the others were too skittish, and the sheep preferred to eat the grass from the ground...

In my brief tour of Wellington, we stopped by Oriental Bay for some coffee and Gelato, the Gelato was amazing by the way. There were patches of sunshine breaking through the clouds, here's the view from the beach.

Alright, this is the final time lapse that I did of the clouds the last morning I was there. I had switched to Jpegs so that the Buffer wouldn't fill and so I could have many more images on the card, however I forgot to switch the White Balance off of auto to a predetermined Kelvin. Since they were all shot with Jpegs and not Raw, I am unable to adjust the color temperature easily for all 2924 photos, so the color temperature does pop in this time lapse. Oh well, next time I will remember... Since I had so many images in this one, I am running at at a full 24 fps, and I captured it at 1 fps, so it is running at 24x realtime. Anyway, here it is...

My last morning in Auckland, I woke up too late to get to the pier for the Sunrise, but I took a series of time lapses from my window as several squalls blew over. This is the first one, the shortest. I started taking them in Camera Raw, but the Buffer would fill up too fast, so I switched to Jpeg for the second and third ones.
